It took me by surprise...Diablo 3

I hadn't been expecting it nor heard anything about it. Until today. Diablo 3 is being made.

I enjoy(ed) Diablo 2, especially battling alongside friends to rid the world of evil. Haven't played as much, in the past couple years, and it isn't even loaded on my system yet (new hardware, XP reinstall). But, it sometimes felt a bit old and dated. Ya know, you like it, but you just feel ready for something new. And something higher rez than 800x600. Still, it's fun to play.

So, when someone at work mentioned the the trailers had dropped for Diablo 3, I perked up and went a'huntin'. Gameplanet has some HighDef trailers, which I plan to watch later, and I believe you can see the same trailers right at the "shiny, new, and official" Diablo 3 site.

As a side note, I like the design and graphics/flash on the D3 site.

I'm going to keep an eye on this game. Here's to hoping it is what it can be.
