Park Serve Day - 2008!

Hey guys, remember this? Last year, I found out too late about Park Serve day. This year...I'm ahead of the curve (yes, it takes me a year to do that, at least).

Park Serve day is May 17, 2008. Mark your hand, your head, your calendar, whatever, and see if you can be there.

This year, Mt. Tom does not seem to be one of the listed sites in my area. All the parks that are part of it are on this page. While a little disappointed in that, I did find that Robinson State Park is on the list. I haven't been there in years, but it maybe nice to help them out a bit.

And remember, it doesn't have to be Park Serve day to help your park. Clean up on the trails and keep 'em clean and accessible. And, um, only you can prevent forest fires. :)
