Charlton Heston passes

Sunday, April 06, 2008

Hopped online this morning and read that Charlton Heston, great actor and advocate for the NRA, passed away last night.

I don't have much to say about it. I've watched him more as a voice for the NRA than as an actor. I'm glad that he stood up so strongly for what he believed.

If you didn't know, he's been the lead actor in such films as "Ben Hur", "The 10 Commandments", and "The Planet Of the Apes."

He left a family that loved him and I'm sure he left many good friends.

"No one could ask for a fuller life than his. No man could have given more to his family, to his profession, and to his country. In his own words, 'I have lived such a wonderful life! I've lived enough for two people'," the statement added.
