In the mouth of the cave

This past weekend, I went to Slobfest and, in a break from standard Slobfest fare (board games, RPG games, card games, D&D) a few of us went out hiking to check out a nearby cave.

I don't have many pics of it, as I didn't have my camera with me, but this is a pic someone took of me entering the cave. I think it looks cool and so, I used it around my site.

As for the Slobfest itself. I got to meet some new people and hang out with some old. In the new list is my friend Jesse's sister, Anne, who wrote the blog Annie In the Arctic and she was pretty dang cool. Also met her boyfriend Sam. Nice guy from down south in CT.

Rob and Jesse were there, ever the staples and "owners" of clan Apoc. This event was hosted at Rob's parents, where it has been for...ever? Thanks again to Rob's parents for being awesome, feeding us, and not kicking us out at night.

I rode up with my friends Jared and Roland. I've seen neither of them for awhile, and this is the most we've hung out in person in...6months? Sheesh. Pretty bad when they live 10 and 20 minutes from myself.

Games played were Munchkin, Illuminati, Fluxx, Zombie Fluxx, The Last Night on Earth, and, um, some others. One of the most fun games was "guess what's in Jesse's cup" where we determine if he has water, tequilla, or vodka tonic just from the looks of it.

I had a great time, was excited to hang with friends, and cannot wait to get back together at the next one. Well, I can wait, but it would be cooler if it was happening sooner.
